"To Catch A Predator" Judge Dismisses Sex Case Says Dateline Entrapped Sailor

A sailor caught in the web of Dateline's "To Catch a Predator" was just acquitted of all charges, after the judge ruled NBC engaged in entrapment.

Joseph Roisman was prosecuted for lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor, after allegedly arranging a meeting with someone he thought was a 13-year-old girl.

Judge Arthur Wick in Sonoma County, California, threw the case out after the prosecution presented its case, ruling prosecutors failed to prove Roisman had an intent to have sex with the decoy.

Roisman's lawyer, L. Stephen Turer, lashed out at the tactics of the people responsible for "To Catch a Predator," saying "They took everything away from this kid just to make a TV show."

Turer added, "This case is the poster child for the abuse in this program."

There were 29 arrests as a result of the Dateline sting.  28 of the defendants pled guilty without going to trial.  This is the only case of the 29 that went to trial, and Dateline's tactics were squarely repudiated.

NBC could not be reached for comment.

“Watch The Throne” Shatters iTunes' First Week Sales Record

The collective of Jay-Z and Kanye West moved 290,000 digital copies of their long awaited LP Watch The Throne on iTunes, setting a record for the highest first week sales in the online music store's history.
The album, which was released exclusively on iTunes last Monday (August 8), shot past previous iTunes record holder Cold Play for first week sales.

Cold Play's 2008 album Viva La Vida moved 155,000 digital copies making it a record at the time.
In less than 24 hours following The Throne's release the album hit No. 1 on iTunes in 23 countries.
An official sales number that includes digital and physical copies will be revealed on Wednesday.
According to predictions, the album is on track to move 400,000 to 500,000 copies.

Kobe Bryant Under Investigation For Allegedly "GRABBING" Up A Young Man At Church

Bryant reportedly became concerned that the young man was taking his picture, police said.

During a confrontation at the back of the church, Bryant may have grabbed the mans wrist to grab the man's phone.

Bryant, seeing no pictures on the phone, returned the phone to the man and, left the church before the service had ended.
The man, who has yet to be identified, later went to a hospital with what is described as a minor wrist sprain.

"We're attempting to interview all the [participants]," said a San Diego police spokesman.

Cops called to Beyonce Video..and Arrest made!

Some loudmouthed dumbass was arrested near the set of Beyonce's new music video in NJ this week -- after screaming at the crew and allegedly THROWING AN EGG at a police officer.

According to law enforcement, police had already booted the rowdy 23-year-old male TWICE for sneaking onto the set -- after he shouted, "I can be a better dancer!" But all bets were off when the kid came back a third time ... and allegedly hurled an egg at an officer.

We're told cops chased the guy down and arrested him on the spot for trespassing and disorderly conduct. He has since been released.

The music video was for Beyonce's new song "Party" -- and the entire thing was shot inside an actual trailer park.

Black Student Sues Minnesota High School Over Annual "Wigger Day"

What is a Wigger?

“Wigger is a pejorative slang term for a white person who emulates the mannerisms, language and fashions associated with African-American culture,” according to the complaint made by Quera Pruitt, a black student who attends the predominantly Caucasian Red Wing High School that celebrates "Wigger Day."

“The students who participated in Wigger or Wangsta day wore clothes that, from their perspective, mimicked Black culture. These costumes included oversized sports jerseys, low-slung pants, baseball hats cocked to the side and ‘doo rags' on their heads. Some of the students displayed gang signs.


“Principal Borgen was aware that the Wednesday of Homecoming Week had historically been referred to among the students as ‘Wednesday Wigger Day.'

“Indeed, September 30, 2009, was not the first time the students at Red Wing High School held Wigger or Wangsta Day. School officials acknowledge that ‘Wednesday Wigger Day' had occurred in at least the ‘last couple of years' prior to September 30, 2009."

Woman Kills Husband With Stiletto

According to the Augusta Chronicle:


Robert Higdon, 58, was involved in an altercation with his live-in girlfriend in the trailer they shared at Augusta Mobile Home Estates, 2526 Milledgeville Road. His girlfriend, Carter, was charged with murder after she struck Higdon in the head with the spike heel of a shoe, police said.

Authorities were called to the home Monday morning when Carter returned to the scene and notified authorities.

Investigators are unsure how many times Highdon was hit with the shoe before he died.

DMX Reality TV Show In The Works

Although just last week a rep for DMX denied rumors that the troubled rapper isworking on a reality show, the same DMX rep is singing a different tune.

DMX's long-time publicist Pam Pinnock, spoke with AllHipHop.com to clear up reports of a reality show saying:

"For the record I never stated there was not a reality show and I did not state there's a disgruntle ex-girlfriend making these false reports," Pam Pinnock told AllHipHop.com.

"X called me a few days ago and confirmed he had agreed to work with a select few and asked that I work in conjunction with these individuals.

"Last night, he called me again and requested that I clear up the rumors circulating that there is no reality show."

Pinnock also stated that she had been out of the country and was unaware of any new projects the rapper was working on since his release from prison earlier this month.

"Yes, I am doing a reality show," DMX has stated, according to Pinnock.

R&B Star Fantasia Announces Pregnancy!

Man In SpongeBob SquarePants Mask Robs Store

Two gunmen walked into an Osceola County 7-Eleven and one of them had on a regular black robber mask while the other chose a bright yellow Spongebob Squarepants disguise turning the funny character into a villain.

"It's not unusual for criminals to disguise their identity," Osceola County Sheriff's spokesman Twis Lizasuain said. "It is unusual he would use that particular character."

A shot was fired but no one was injured as the two masked men emptied the register and made off with what is being reported as a lot of cash.

Just minutes earlier, deputies said the same pair was caught on surveillance video trying to rob a Walgreens. "At Walgreens was an attempted robbery. One of the suspects walked into the store, realized no one was in the store and left immediately," said Lizasuain.

Authorities are uncertain whether they got away on foot, in a car or at sea.

According to Radar Online, it should have been obvious that Soulja Boy couldn't afford a $55 million private jet, considering that he owes $26,000 in back taxes.

As previously reported Soulja Boy made headlines on his 21st birthday when news broke that the bought himself a luxurious birthday gift; a jet with upgrades estimated to cost close to $55 million.

Unfortunately a rep for the rapper has shot down those reports and Radar Online may have uncovered the reason why.

According to official documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, the State of California filed a $26,805 tax lien against the rapper on March 24, 2011.

In addition to that line, SB previously owed the State of Mississippi $3,571 in back taxes but paid the full amount just last week on July 22, 2011.

Radar also confirms that a home in SB's name was foreclosed on last year.
