Congrats....Gabourey!!!!!
Precious Star Gabourey Sidibe is taking Hollywood by storm. She’s covering the pages of the March issue of Ebony. And she’s dishing on working with Mo’Nique and director Lee Daniels changing her life. A snippet from Essence:
With the Academy Awards right around the corner, Ebony moved far beyond the silver screen to zero in on the power of the image as it relates to African-Americans. For this March issue, Precious star and first-time film actor Gabourey “Gabby” Sidibe provides the essential backdrop to help examine what power really means. In a league of her own, she has definitely defied the “classic beauty” image in today’s movie industry. Yet, she possesses the kind of inner strength, courage and freedom that most of us would love to call our own.
“I wake up with myself every morning, so the only opinion that really matters is mine,” says Sidibe.

The VIEW..... gets BLACK MALED!
Nelly, Jermaine Dupri and Trey Songz are reportedly working on a new television project which has been described as the male version of the popular ABC talk show, “The View.”
According to Nelly, the project is currently under development.
“Not sure if you’re familiar with the Ocean’s 7 Crew. It’s me, Jermaine Dupri, Trey Songz, Johnta Austin, Brian Michael Cox and Tyrone “International” Davis. We’re working on kind of like the male version of ‘The View.’ We’re working on that. You ever seen that movie called The Ugly Truth? You know how the guy had his show; well we’re working on that. I’m starting to do more now, but I wanted to do stuff that made sense to me. I had a lot of offers and a lot of things that probably could’ve been cool, but I turned it down because I felt I wasn’t ready yet. I never want to disrespect the culture and the thing that is acting, thinking just because I’m Nelly I’m going to transition and be good at it.”

Michael Jackson’s estate has a new creditor’s claim — thanks to one R. Kelly.
MJ sang Kelly’s song “Ignition” in his car as part of the TV show, “Michael Jackson’s Private Home Movies” — but never paid for it.
Universal Music Publishing Group, which owns the rights to the song, wants Jackson’s estate to pay $3,000. Universal attached a contract to the creditor’s claim, showing the fee in black and white.
